This annual event is one you cannot miss! Cornucopia is Whistler’s Celebration of Wine and Food and takes place over the November long weekend from the 10th to 13th.

The festival celebrates everything about wine and food.Over the four days and nights you can take part in fascinating seminars hosted by renowned industry professionals, enjoy wine makers’ dinners, attend gala tasting events and dance the night away at the famous after parties.  Cornucopia offers something for everyone, whether you are an experienced gourmet or just appreciate a glass of wine and fine food.  Cornucopia is now recognised as the “West Coast’s premier resort-based epicurean extravaganza”.

Highlights of Cornucopia include the recently announced Chef’s Table Luncheon featuring Dale Mackay from Ensemble Restaurant. Dale MacKay is Canada’s Top Chef winner and will be making a multi-course extravaganza, paired with delicious local wines.  The Luncheon will be held in the intimate and breath-taking setting of a Whistler mansion.

The legendary Masquerave at the Bearfoot Bistro returns to Cornucopia this year. This is a must-attend extravaganza which will feature local and international wines, champagnes, light shows and sexy burlesque entertainment.  Enjoy gastronomic creations by Bearfoot Bistro executive chef Melissa Craig and other top chefs from Vancouver and Quebec.

The CRUSH Gala Tasting held on the Friday and Saturday evening at the Whistler Conference Centre is the flagship tasting event of Cornucopia.  Enjoy the vibrant atmosphere whilst you sip, sample and savour your way through dozens of wineries from all over the world.

After the CRUSH Gala tastings there will be the infamous After Parties! Details are still to be finalised, however Araxi Restaurant have confirmed they will be hosting the famed Bubbles + Oceans after party.  This will be an unforgettable night of brilliant seafood and deluxe bubbles from 30 of the world’s top Champagne and sparkling wine houses, in celebration of Araxi’s 30th anniversary.

Day time events include the Viking Stage Series tastings, Chef’s Trip to the Farm, Chef’s Table Luncheon and number of seminars.
